a renovated 16th century convent, Saint Frances sits just above the sea in an ancient fishing village in the Monti Lattari Natural Reserve, on the Amalfi Coast of Italy, just south of Sorrento.

Each participant is responsible for his/her own travel arrangements to the Sorrento train station in Campania, where a shuttle will provide transfer to the retreat center.

THINGS TO KNOW
You can fly into/out of Naples or Rome. You will need a current passport with at least two empty pages and six months validity beyond departure date. No vaccinations are required.
Plan for your flight to arrive any time on October 1. Retreat activities and yoga practices start the morning of October 2 and finish the evening of October 6.
Plan to depart at your convenience on October 7.
You can get to and from the Rome or Naples airport to the Sorrento train station by train, bus or taxi. Expect a 45-minute travel time from Naples station (2-3 hours from Rome). Shuttles from the Sorrento train station are included in your retreat tuition.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Two yoga/meditation/inquiry sessions each day. With plenty of free time.
Planning to pursue our 200-hour Teacher Training? this will comprise one 20 hour module. if you wish to receive credit, 100% attendance is required. Otherwise, you do you!
Two off-site excursions to Capri and Positano are included in the retreat tuition. Ample time will be allowed for your own adventures, too!
The resort is a short walk to Massa Lubresne, a small fishing village with cafes and shops, and a short taxi to the larger village of Sorrento.
There is spotty Internet and cell service at this property; however, all yoga/meditation/training sessions will be phone-and device-free. We invite you to unplug as much as possible.
The first week of October sees temperatures in the mid-70s.
WHAT TO BRING
Yoga clothes and accessories (mats/props are available).
Outdoor play clothes, bathing suit and hat, sturdy walking shoes, jackets/sweaters.
A scarf or other item to cover bare shoulders for entering churches and other sanctuaries.
Small daypack/tote bag.
Unbreakable water bottle (no glass).
Journal and pens/pencils.
