BEGINNER BASICS

// classes at three dog are rooted in vinyasa yoga, which focuses on improving mobility, breathing for stress relief, and increasing mental focus.

// each class begins with a few moments of meditative centering, followed by a dynamic warm-up and a varied set of postures to develop strength, balance and flexibility. all sessions conclude with relaxation and deep rest.

// the only equipment you need is a yoga mat. if you don’t have one, we’re happy to rent you one while you’re getting started!

CHOOSING YOUR CLASS

we welcome beginners in every class, every day. most students like to start in our FLOW or RELAXED FLOW classes.

FLOW
a moderately paced flowing yoga practice that sticks to basic postures, stretches, and balance exercises.

RELAXED FLOW
a laid-back practice of stretching and relaxation.

POWER
an invigorating practice that refines the basic postures and introduces more challenging mobility and balance exercises. Heated to 88 degrees for increased focus and sweat.

JAM
a yoga-inspired workout with high-energy music. heated to 88 degrees to help you sweat out the day.

beginner flow path
  1. Sign up for the New Student Intro Pass here.

  2. Choose your first four classes and sign up online.

  3. Arrive about five minutes early at 1617 Terrace Way.

  4. Plan to take at least two classes in your first week to maximize your pass and build a strong base.
