  • …what’s a root chakra? (pronounced chuck-ra…because: Sanskrit transliteration is tricky. but we digress.)

to make a loooooooong story short, the chakra system corresponds to various nerve centers along the spine that connect to specific areas of the body.

the idea is if we take care of the areas associated with these centers we balance our energy flow.

this month, all our classes will be focusing on the first (aka root) chakra, which corresponds to our feet, legs and hips.

what this means for you: deep dives into balance postures, the triangle series, and seated stretches.

side effects may include: more prana, increased energy, ease, and feel-good vibes.
